Georgie loves seeing clients develop their communication skills so they can better engage with their family, friends and community.
Georgie has extensive experience in assessing and treating people with intellectual disabilities across the lifespan. She enjoys the variety of a mixed caseload of children, teenagers and adults. She enjoys children for their energy, imaginations and great therapy gains and adults as therapy has a functional focus with often quite surprising outcomes.
She has extensive experience with assessing and treating dysphagia and developing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems for clients who are limited verbally. She enjoys assisting clients to become more functional in their communication and therefore ensuring they can enhance their participation in society and improve their health and well-being.
