Shoulder Therapy
We assist children

We assist children who demonstrate abnormal tone – such as spasticity and hypermobility.

Specialised Equipment includes

• Splinting, casting, Kinesio taping and a variety of additional equipment is used to assist your child in achieving normal tone.

Tracking your child’s progress

Tracking progress helps you and your child remain motivated. Standardised and non-standardised assessments as well as observations are used to track your child’s progress.

Your child’s program

Abnormal muscle tone impacts upon your child’s ability to move and control their body, arms and legs. Our individualised programs are designed to best normalise your child’s tone and maximise their movement patterns and can include a range of various treatment approaches, including but not limited to:

• Post Botox therapy
• Serial Casting
• Splinting
• Kinesio tapping
• Dynamic Movement Garments – vests, pants, gloves
• Exercise and stretching programs
• Hydrotherapy
• Seating and positioning systems
Functional Movement Frame – this treatment modality is used to assist children achieving movement in a supported environment
